On Sundays, We Brunch

Did you know we serve Sunday brunch at Restaurant Six? We do, and we’re proud to say it’s delicious!

I sat down with David and Darin, our brunch servers, to get their impressions of our Sunday crowd. They told me that our guests often ask about the name change (see “Have you seen our new sign?”) and the history of Restaurant Six, which we are going to feature in our blog later this month! Of course, the other most common questions involve our brunch menu, which we thought we would focus on here.

Brunch favorites

Dave and Darin agree that the Baked Brie (with warm cranberry port chutney), the Avocado Toast, and the Smoked Salmon Lox are tied for the appetizers most often ordered. For entrees, our guest favorites are the Bananas Foster French Toast and the Rocky Mountain Toast, fried eggs served in hollowed out Texas toast with homemade fresh dill hollandaise sauce. When I asked our servers what their favorite entree is, they both swear by the Buttermilk Chicken & Waffles – “The slight heat that the sriracha sauce brings just puts this dish over the top!”

Bar favorites, bar none

In addition to bottomless classic mimosas, aperol spritzes, and bloody marys, we recently introduced mimosa flights, where you can select three from a wide variety of flavors including peach, pomegranate, and our rotating seasonal flavor (the seasonal flavor is actually a weekly mimosa special based on whatever inspires Dave in the moment, like blueberry peach or watermelon strawberry).

If you’re looking for a completely different spin on a brunch cocktail, try our brunch punch! This concoction is Dave’s and Darin’s baby: orange, pineapple, and cranberry juices, with muddled berries and a little grenadine, mixed with prosecco and topped with Tito’s Vodka and a splash of Sprite.

We hope you’re hungry! Join Dave and Darin every Sunday from 11am to 2 pm. Give us a call at 845-221-1941 to make a reservation.
